There are many exams which are conducted for the recruitment of government teachers who recruit for various grades. REET

REET is one of the most popular exams in Rajasthan. REET stands for the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers. It is a state-level examination which is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, for the recruitment of eligible primary and secondary teachers in Rajasthan.

REET Paper Pattern

The REET exam consists of two papers- Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for Class I to V, and Paper-II is conducted for the recruitment of teachers for Classes VI-VIII. The candidates can apply for anyone or both of these papers. All the candidates are assessed based on an offline written exam, which will consist of objective type questions, and the candidates who meet the cutoff are shortlisted in the final list. 

REET Eligibility

For Paper-I

  • Class XII with 50% marks

Passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years D.El.Ed

OR

  • Class XII with 45% marks

Passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years D.El.Ed in accordance with NCTE

OR

  • Class XII with 50% marks

Passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years B.El.Ed

OR

  • Class XII with 50% marks

Passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

OR

  • Graduation in any discipline

Passed or appearing in the final year if 2-year D.El.Ed

For Paper-II

  • Graduation in any discipline

Passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year D.El.Ed

OR

  • Graduation with 50% marks

1 year B.Ed passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year B.Ed

OR

  • Graduation with 45% marks

1 year B.Ed passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year B.Ed in accordance with NCTE

OR

  • Class XII with 50% marks

Passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed

OR

  • Class XII with 50% marks

Passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed

RPSC Second Grade Teacher

RPSC Seconds grade teacher is a state-level competitive exam which is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for the recruitment of Senior Teachers in the government schools of Rajasthan. The Commission fills vacant posts in English, Hindi, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, and Sindhi subjects.

RPSC Second Grade Teacher Paper Pattern

This exam consists of two papers- Paper-I and Paper-II. The Paper-I is related to general studies, and Paper-II is for the chosen subject by the candidate for teaching. All the questions in the paper will be of MCQ type. 

RPSC Second Grade Teacher Eligibility

Graduate or equivalent Examination with concerned subject as optional subject and Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education

and

Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and Knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

OR

Graduate with at least two of the following optional subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro-Biology, Bio-Technology and Bio-Chemistry and Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education

and

Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and Knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

OR

Graduate with at least two subjects out of the subjects- History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy as optional subjects

OR

Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the Government of Rajasthan.

and

Working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and Knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

RPSC Second Grade Teacher Preparation Tips

RPSC School Lecturer

The RPSC conducts the I Grade Exam for the recruitment of School Lecturer or First Grade Teacher. The post of school lecturer is further divided into two branches, i.e., Sanskrit Education and School Education. 

RPSC School Lecturer Paper Pattern

The exam is conducted in two phases- The written exam, which is followed by an interview. Only the students who qualify the written round make it to the interview. 

RPSC School Lecturer Eligibility

Age Limit- The candidate must be a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 40  years old to apply for this post.

Educational Qualification- Post Graduation in the concerned subject with a minimum of 48% marks.

Other requirements – The candidate must be an Indian citizen with a working knowledge of Rajasthani culture and Hindi/Devanagari.
