Candidates must go to the UPPSC’s official website to apply online. All qualified applicants who wish to serve in the Uttar Pradesh Government as APS should apply online through the direct URL provided above. The following are the procedures for completing and submitting the application form:
'Online Application' will be completed in three stages:-
Step 1: Navigate to the UPPSC website.
Step 2: Select 'Apply' for the UPPSC APS Vacancy.
Step 3: Complete the first stage by registering yourself to the portal by clicking on the OTR Link.
Step 4: In the second stage, you have to enter your qualification details prescribed for the post.
Step 5: Fill in the other details required in the UPPSC APS Application Form.
Step 6: Upload the required documents in support of your eligibility.
Step 7: In the third stage, pay the application fees through the SBI Multi Option Payment System (MOPS).
Step 8: Now submit the application form and save and download a copy of the submitted application form for future reference.

The eligible candidates for the post of Additional Private Secretary will be selected by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission through the following stages:
Stage-I: Written Test
In this stage of UPPSC APS 2023, there will be a 150-mark written test which will include three papers. The duration of the exam will be three hours. Candidates who pass this level will be shortlisted to take the second stage of the examination.
Stage-II: Stenography Test & Computer Typing Test
There will be a Hindi Shorthand and a Computer Typing test. Candidates who are successful in the minimum standards of this stage of the examination will be shortlisted to appear in the third stage of UP APs 2023.
Stage-III: Computer Practical
There will be a computer practical test of 50 marks; the duration of this test will be one hour.
Final Selection will be made on the basis of merit by adding the marks obtained by the candidate in all three stages of the examination mentioned above.

The basic pay for UPPSC APS will be Rs. 47600/- (under Matrix Level-8), i.e. in the pay scale of 9300-34800 with a grade pay of 4800. The average salary for the month will be between Rs. 47600 to Rs. 151100/-.
