The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued the 69th BPSC CCE exam notification on 27 June 2023. According to the said notification, out of total 346 posts, 235 posts will be recruited through the 69th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination and 111 posts will be recruited through Child Development Project Officer, Financial Administrative Officer and equivalent and Police Vice President (Tech.).
According to the examination calendar issued earlier by the Commission, the preliminary examination is to be conducted on 30 September 2023. This article provides all the information which is necessary to know before applying for the BPSC PCS/CCE.
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts this exam every year to select eligible candidates for posts in the General Administrative Department in the state of Bihar. Through this examination, appointments are made to different services/cadres which come under the General Administrative Department such as Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Director, Revenue Officer, Commercial Tax Officer, Election Officer, Bihar Superintendent of Police, Welfare Officer, etc.
The BPSC 69th Exam will be conducted in three phases, i.e. Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview. The Pre exam is a screening test and the candidates who clear the Prelims can give the Mains exam in the next stage.

If you want to apply for 69th BPSC Combined Competitive Exam, you must first fulfill the eligibility criteria requirements. The following information will help you determine your eligibility for BPSC Vacancies under the 69th CCE :
It is mandatory for a candidate to be an Indian citizen to be eligible to apply for these posts.
The BPSC has prescribed different age requirements for the various advertised posts. The minimum age of applicants as on 1st August 2023 should be 20 years/ 21 years/ 22 years (depending on the post). Refer to the official BPSC notification for details.

Firstly, visit the official website of BPSC.
Click on the button “APPLY ONLINE FOR BPSC 69th COMBINED COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION” given on the home page.
If you are new to the portal, first register yourself by filling necessary information like your name, date of birth, father's/mother's name, mobile number, e-mail ID etc.
After registering, login with the registration number and password sent to your email ID and mobile number.
Now fill all the required details along with your qualification details in the application form.
Pay the prescribed online application fee as per your category and submit the application after verifying all the details carefully.
Finally download your application form and take a copy of it for future reference.

Mode of Payment
You can pay your application fee online using any of the following modes: Net Banking, UPI, Debit Card or Credit Card.
The examination will be held in the following three phases:
Preliminary Examination:
In this test, candidates will have to choose one option for every multiple choice question. This examination will be just a screening test, on the basis of which the candidates will be selected for the main examination. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English languages.
Main Exam:
Successful candidates of Preliminary Competitive Examination will have to fill separate application form for the Main Examination. The optional subjects for different posts of the combined Main (written) examination will be different, out of which the candidate will have to choose any one. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English languages.
Personality Test:
There will be a Personality Test (Interview) of 120 marks for the successful candidates of the Mains Examination .
Note : Candidates have to clear both the written tests and only then they will be called to appear in the interview for final selection.

Preliminary Examination
The BPSC 69th Preliminary Exam will be of qualifying nature only.
All the questions will be objective type multiple choice.
BPSC 69th Prelims Exam will have only General Studies subject which will have 150 questions for 150 marks.
There will be a negative marking for wrong answers in the exam.
The duration of the BPSC Prelims exam is 2 hours.
