Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the 103 railway stations in 18 states/Union Territories, developed under the Indian Railways’s Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, at a function in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on 22 May 2025.
The Rajasthan Chief Minister, Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Law Minister, attended the function.
Prime Minister Modi inaugurated, laid the foundation stone, and dedicated multiple development projects worth Rs 26,000 crore to the nation during his visit to Bikaner on 22 May 2025.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Nal airport, which Pakistan targeted during the recent conflict. The Nal airport is a civilian enclave within the Indian Air Force base in Bikaner.
The Indian Railway’s 103 railway stations, inaugurated by the Prime Minister, are in 86 districts across 18 states and Union Territories.

These stations are part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme of the Indian Railways.
The Ministry of Railways launched the Scheme in December 2022.
