The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is a defence force that preserves and enforces maritime law in India. Eligible applicants are hired as Assistant Commandants by the ICG for a variety of positions such as General Duty, Technical, Legal Advisor, Pilots, and so on. These positions are open to both male and female candidates. As part of the selection process, candidates will undergo a Screening Test (CGCAT), a Preliminary Selection Board, a Final Selection Board, a Medical Examination, and an Induction.
Indian Coast Guard released a Notification to recruit candidates on the 46 vacant posts of Assistant Commandant for the batch of 02/2024.
