Uttarakhand CM Dhami inaugurates G20 Impact Summit at IIT-Roorkee

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the "G20 Impact Summit: Unleashing the Potentials" at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) on 2 August 2023 .
The ‘G20 Impact Summit: Unleashing the Potentials’ is being hosted by IIT Roorkee in collaboration with ‘‘Think India,’ Think India is an organization which is dedicated to promoting Indian nationalism and national reconstruction.
The G20 Impact Summit: Unleashing the Potentials’ will take place on 2nd and 3rd August 2023 .
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that the ‘primary objective of the summit is to unleash the potential for impactful change by fostering meaningful discussions, promoting collaboration and facilitating knowledge-sharing among students, researchers and innovators from diverse sectors.’
Last year India assumed the Presidency of G-20 from Indonesia after the Bali summit for one year-1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023.
India as the President of the G-20 is hosting over 100 meetings all over India on various issues of global importance before the summit meeting to be held on 9-10 September 2023 in New Delhi.
Group of 20 or G-20 is a multilateral organisation of 19 countries and the European Union. It was set up in 1999 and India has been a member of the G20 since its inception .
