Chhattisgarh's ' Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana' was awarded by the Uttar Pradesh government in the category of Outstanding Project in Digital Innovation at the Uttar Pradesh Planning and Investment Conclave in Lucknow on 24 August.
The conclave was organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and ELETS.
This honor was given to Chhattisgarh for making urban services easily available to the general public through digital medium under the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana.
The scheme provides people with easy access to facilities through digital medium. Along with this, transparency also increases in it. Citizens get a lot of relief from the use of digital media for the facilities provided in the urban bodies. In such a situation, the innovation of Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana in Chhattisgarh is a great relief scheme for lakhs of city dwellers.
About Chief Minister Mitan Yojana
Mitan scheme has been started in the state of Chhattisgarh to deliver government services to citizens' homes through Mitan within the prescribed time limit.
The specialty of this scheme is that citizens have to call on the toll free number 14545 provided by the government. After which the government is providing all the facilities related to making documents/certificates/licenses at the citizens' homes through Mitan.
Objective of the scheme:
- Providing benefits of all government services to the citizens sitting at home.
- Providing government facilities within the prescribed time limit.
- Increase in transparency in government services provided to citizens through the scheme.
- On calling the toll free number 14545 provided by the government, information about related government services will be given.
- As per the convenience of the citizen, an appointment will be booked for making documents by ensuring the date and time fixed.
- Online registration of service and collection of documents by Mitan agent by reaching the residence of the citizens.
- Make the information provided by you available to the concerned department, further action will be taken to provide the service in the stipulated time.
- After the documents are prepared, you will be informed and the documents will be made available after reaching home.
- Chief Minister Mitan Call Center services are available from 8 am to 8 pm for citizen convenience.
