Sudhir Kakar, the "Father of Indian Psychology", died on 22 April 2024 at the age of 85. Sudhir Kakkar was a famous writer and cultural critic.

  • Sudhir Kakar was born in 1938 in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Sudhir Kakar's life and work bridged the gap between Western and Eastern thought. Sudhir Kakar has left an unforgettable mark in the field of psychoanalysis in India.
  • According to the famous show's curator Dr. Alka Pandey, Sudhir Kakar was suffering from throat cancer. Sudhir Kakar's last rites were performed at Lodhi crematorium on April 25 at 4 pm at Arya Samaj Mandir.
  • The famous psychoanalyst Kkkar was also a great table tennis player. Kakar is survived by his wife Katrina and children.
