PM Modi launches rail and road projects in Madhya Pradesh Government Scheme 2 min read

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 12 August 2023 inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth more than four thousand crore rupees in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.

Prime Minister Modi performed Bhumi Pujan of Sant Ravidas memorial to be built at a cost of Rs 100 crore at Bartuma in Sagar.

  • During this, the Prime Minister also addressed a public meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhumi Pujan of the temple and memorial of Saint Ravidas at Badtuma in Sagar district on 12 August 2023 itself.

  • Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone of two road projects worth Rs 1 thousand 582 crore under the Bharat Mala project of the National Highways Authority of India. These roads will make it easy to reach the Buddhist stupas of Sanchi and the famous Chanderi sarees.

  • The Prime Minister also inaugurated the doubling of the Kota-Bina rail route built at a cost of Rs 2500 crore.

  • Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and several ministers from the central and state governments were also present in the programme.
