Prime Minister Narendra Modi and News Zealand’s Prime Minister Christopher Luxon jointly inaugurated the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi on 17 March 2025.
The 10th edition of the annual Raisina Dialogue is being held in New Delhi from 17-19 March 2025.
The visiting New Zealand’s Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was the chief guest of the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue and also delivered the keynote address.
Christopher Luxon was on an official visit to India from 16-20 March 2025.
About Raisina Dialogue
The Raisina dialogue is a premier conference on geopolitics and geo economic with an Indian perspective .It provides a platform for the experts in the field of geo politics and geo economics across the world to discuss the most challenging issues facing the international community and tries to find a solution to them through dialogue and discussion.It derives it name from Raisina hills situated in Delhi.
The area in the Raisina Hill in Delhi was chosen by the British to build the new capital of British India after the capital was transferred from Kolkata (Calcutta) in 1911.
Raisina symbolically represents the seat of power of the Indian government.
Organiser of the Raisina Dialogue
The Raisina Dialogue is hosted by the Observer Research Foundation in association with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
The first Raisina Dialogue was held in 2016 and since then it has been held annually.
The Observer Research Foundation was established in the 1990s. It is a private think tank based in New Delhi.
It is a non profit, independent organisation that conducts research on international security, energy, climate,economics etc.
Theme of the 10th Raisina Dialogue
The theme of the 10th Raisina Dialogue is Kālachakra - People, Peace and Planet.

In the Raisina Dialogue global experts in the field of geopolitics and geoeconomics along with policy makers are invited.In the 10th Raisina dialogue around 3500 delegates from 125 countries are participating.
Speakers at the Dialogue includes the foreign minister of Maldives Abdulla Khaleel, Nepal’s foreign minister Arzu rana Deuba, foreign minister of Latvia Baiba Braže and other high ranking former Heads of State and Heads of Government, Military Commanders, Captains of Industry, Technology Leaders, Academics etc.
