Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has given the first Radio Frequency (RF) Seeker of Akash – the Next Generation Weapon System to the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). This RF Seeker was produced at BDL's newly set-up Seeker Facility Centre (SFC), which uses advanced technology.

  • The RF seeker has been designed by DRDO's Research Center Imarat, and manufactured by BDL at its state-of-the-art seeker facility set up at BDL, Kanchanbagh Unit in Hyderabad.
