UPSC IES/ISS (Written) Result 2023 Declared

UPSC IES/ISS Written Examination Result 2023 was released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 24 August 2023. The commission conducted the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Written Examination 2023 in June 2023. The candidates who have appeared in the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service (Written) Examination 2023 can view their results by visiting the official website of the commission at upsc.gov.in. 

UPSC IES/ISS Written Result

UPSC has announced the IES/ISS result based on the written examination conducted by the commission on 25 June 2023. The written qualified candidates are now eligible for the Interview/ Personality Test. However, the candidature of the candidates who have qualified the mains is provisional, subject to their fulfilling the required eligibility criteria. At the time of the Interview/Personality Test, candidates must present their original certificates/documents supporting their claims on age, educational qualification, disability, category and so on.

How to Download UPSC IES/ISS Written Result 2023

The UPSC official website has published the IES/ISS written result in PDF format. Candidates can access their UPSC IES/ISS results through the direct URL provided above or by visiting the UPSC's official website and following the steps mentioned below: 

• Visit the UPSC's official website. 
• Look for the “What's New” area on the homepage's right side.
• Click the link that says “Written Result (with Name): Indian Economic Service Examination – Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2023.”
• The list of written qualified applicants for the Interview/Personality Test will be displayed as a PDF document.
• Look for your roll number in the PDF and save it for future reference.

Detailed Application Form for UPSC IES/ISS Interview

Following the announcement of the IES/ISS (Written) result 2023, the shortlisted candidates must complete the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Personality Test/Interview round. Candidates who have been declared successful must first register on the online application portal of UPSC before filling out the ONLINE DAF and uploading the scanned copies of relevant certificates/documents in support of their eligibility, the claim for reservation, etc. 

Steps to Fill DAF

Candidates declared qualified in the written Examinations must first register before completing the Online Detailed Application Form (DAF).

• Click on the Registration link and fill out your information, including your name (as it appears on your matriculation/secondary examination certificate), roll number (in six-digit), date of birth, and e-mail address.
• After clicking the submit button, candidates will see a message on their screen stating their name and e-mail address, and a password will be sent to the candidate's e-mail address.
• Now, return to the website and log in to the login module using Roll Number (six-digit numbers) and password. 
• Proceed to fill out the Online DAF by entering the required information.

Online DAF has SIX modules: Personal, Educational Information, Parental Information, Employment Information, Upload Documents, and Final Submission. 

Candidates have to upload the scanned copies of the following documents:

• Proof of Birth Date
• Subject-specific academic details and qualifications
• Category Certificate (Only for candidates from the reserved categories)
• Proof of age or fee (if applicable) by certificate
• Disability Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (where applicable)
• Certificate of Residence from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Sikkim, or Mizoram (if applicable)

UPSC IES/ISS 2023 Interview

Candidates achieving the qualifying marks in the UPSC IES-ISS Written Exam will be shortlisted for the interview round. The UPSC Indian Economic Service – Indian Statistical Service interview schedule for applicants who passed the written Test will be posted on the Commission's official website in due course. The actual date of the interview, however, will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates by e-summon letter. 

Candidates are advised to check their e-mail regularly for further updates. Please remember that the commission will not consider requests to change the date or time of the Interview/Personality Test under any circumstances. 

UPSC IES-ISS Mark Sheets 2023

After the final result is declared (i.e. after the Personality Test), the applicants' UPSC IES-ISS mark sheets will be published on the UPSC website. The marksheets will be available on the commission's official website for a period of 30 days. Candidates can access their UPSC IES-ISS Marksheets by logging in with their Roll Number and Date of Birth. If they want a hard copy, they can send a self-addressed stamped envelope to UPSC.
