Candidates appearing for the UPSC CAPF AC Exam 2024 should first familiarize themselves with the examination pattern. Understanding the UPSC CAPF Exam Pattern will aid in effective preparation. Below is a detailed outline of the UPSC CAPF AC 2024 Exam Pattern for both papers:

Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence

• Paper 1 consists of Objective (Multiple Choice) Type Questions.
• The total marks for this paper will be 250.
• Questions on General Ability & Intelligence will be provided in both English and Hindi.
• Negative markings will apply for incorrect answers in Paper 1 of UPSC CAPF.
• For each incorrect answer, one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
• Paper I will be assessed first. Only candidates who meet the minimum qualifying marks in Paper I will have their Paper II evaluated.

Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension

• This will be a Descriptive Type paper with a total of 200 marks.
• Candidates can choose to write the essay component in either English or Hindi. 
• Précis writing, comprehension, and other language skills will be conducted in English only.
