Recruitment of MP Food Safety Officers for 2025

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission MPPSC) is accepting online applications from the eligible candidates of MP and other states, for the position of Food Safety Officer (FSO). In accordance with the Food Safety and Standards Act of 2006, this hiring is being done to guarantee quality and safety in the public food distribution and monitoring system. The selection process includes an OMR-based written exam, followed by an interview. Candidates who are selected for the FSO post will be placed on a salary scale of Rs. 36,200 to Rs. 1,14,800.

MPPSC FSO Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before applying for the MPPSC FSO Examination 2025, applicants must check the information regarding the age limits and educational requirements. They must meet the eligibility standards; if they do not meet the qualifications, they will not be considered for the post.

MPPSC Food Safety Officer 2025 exam application must be submitted between 11 July to 10 August 2025. Candidates can complete their registration by visiting the MPPSC portal, filling in personal and educational details, uploading required documents, and submitting the application fee by following the steps below:

Step 1: Open the website of MPPSC.

Step 2: Click on the "Apply online Link" on the home page and select "Recruitment Advertisement for Food Safety Officer Exam 2025".

Step 3: Click on the "Apply Online" link given in front of the exam name and fill out the application form completely with personal, educational, and professional information.

Step 4: Scan the necessary documents to be uploaded, like photographs, signatures, and educational certificates, as per the required format.

MP Food Security Officer Selection Process 2025

The selection process for MPPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2025 consists of two main stages, i.e, Written Examination and Interview, followed by the Document Verification. Let's analyze all stages in some detail:

• Written Examination: This is the first stage of the FSO recruitment process. The written examination will be conducted offline through an OMR-based format, and the question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), divided into two sections – Food Science and Technology and General studies. 

• Interview: Candidates who clear the FSO written examination will be shortlisted for the interview round. The personal interview stage will be of 50 marks and assesses communication skills, problem-solving ability, and overall suitability of a candidate for the role of Food Safety Officer.
• Document Verification: Candidates who appear for the interview round will have to undergo the document verification process. They must carry their original documents as instructed by the commission to validate their category, educational qualifications, date of birth, age, and caste certificate (if applicable).

• All questions will be of an objective (multiple-choice) type, having four options (A, B, C, D).

MP FSO Answer Key 2025

Once the FSO Written Exam 2025 is concluded, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission will upload the MPPSC FSO  Answer Key 2025 PDF on its official website. Candidates are advised to carefully review the answer key and, if required, submit their objections within the stipulated timeframe through online mode only. Candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs. 150/- for each question they wish to challenge against any question or answer of the MP FSO Answer Key. MPPSC FSO Result 2025

MPPSC will release the FSO result in two stages, i.e., after Written examination to shortlist candidates for the next stage and after the Interview for final selection. MPPSC FSO Exam Cut-off 

The MPPSC Food Safety Officer Cut Off 2025 will be released along with the exam results. These cut-off marks represent the minimum marks required for candidates to to be shortlisted in the selection process. The cut-off may vary depending on factors such as

The Food Safety Officer (FSO) post under MPPSC falls under Category III – Executive, and it is a permanent government position. As per the official notification, the salary structure is:

• ₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800 (Pay Matrix Level as per 7th CPC). Along with this, Dearness Allowance (DA) and other government-approved allowances are also applicable.
