Science Center in Champawat district after Capital Dehradun and Almora

After the capital Dehradun and Almora district, now the exercise of construction of the science center has been intensified in Champawat district as well.

Key Points about new Science Centre

• After the announcement of Chief Minister Dhami, 98 nali land on Gaudi Marg has been transferred to the Science and Technology Department by the Revenue Department for the construction of Science Center in Champawat.
• Delhi's Mathur & Kapre agency has been selected to prepare the DPR for the Science Center at the headquarters.
• Rs 35 lakh has been allocated under the state plan by the Public Works Department for preparing the Detailed Action Plan Report (DPR) for the construction of the Science Centre. Delhi's Mathur & Kapre agency has been selected to prepare the DPR.
• A planetarium will be constructed for information about astronomy in the proposed science center at the headquarters. 
• Apart from this, an auditorium, innovation hut and oven park will also be constructed. There will be many scientific activities in the Science Center. Along with a science park, a fun science and theme based gallery will also be built in the center.
