PM lays foundation stone for Shri Kalki Dham Temple, Sambhal, UP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on 19 February 2024. The PM also unveiled the model of Shri Kalki Dham Temple.

Shri Kalki Dham is being constructed by Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust whose chairman is Acharya Pramod Krishnam.

Feature of Shri Kalki Dham Temple:

Throwing light on the architecture of the temple, the Prime Minister explained in detail that this temple will have 10 garbh grihas. All the 10 avatars of the Lord will be present in it.
Through these 10 avatars, all forms of the Lord including the human form have been presented in the scriptures.

Time of cultural renaissance of India:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the February 19 event is another unique moment of India's cultural renaissance.
The consecration of Shri Ram temple was done in Ayodhya Dham on 22 January 2024. The first Hindu temple was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 14 February 2024. All this that was once beyond imagination has now become reality.
The temple is built on a land of 20,000 square meters at a place named 'Al Wakba' in Abu Dhabi.
Al Wakba, near the highway, is 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi.
About 26 lakh Indians live in the UAE, which is about 30% of the population there.
The Prime Minister mentioned Vishwanath Dham in Kashi, Parivartan of Kashi, Mahakal Mahalok, Somnath and Kedarnath Dham in terms of spiritual upliftment. On this occasion, the Prime Minister said, we are moving forward with the mantra of 'Development also heritage also'.
The Prime Minister said that "Kalki is the initiator of change in the cycle of time and is also a source of inspiration." He said that Kalki Dham is going to be a place dedicated to the Lord who is yet to be incarnated.

Efforts by the government to provide social justice to the people:

The Prime Minister listed his efforts over the last 10 years. These can be seen as follows.
- More than 4 crore permanent houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,
- 11 crore toilets,
- Electricity to 2.5 crore families,
- Tap water to more than 10 crore houses,
- Free ration to 80 crore citizens,
- Subsidized gas cylinders to 10 crore women,
- 50 crore Ayushman cards,
- Kisan Samman Nidhi to 10 crore farmers,
- Free vaccine during pandemic,
- Many other achievements like Swachh Bharat can be counted.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birth anniversary was also celebrated on 19 February 2024. On this occasion, the Prime Minister paid tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
