Nikhil Dey was honored with the 'International Anti-Corruption Champion' award by the United States of America in the first week of December 2023.

  • The United States Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs has acknowledged Nikhil Dey's work against social movements and corruption in government welfare schemes in India.
  • US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti has congratulated Nikhil Dey on social media platform X (formerly Tutor). 

About Nikhil Dey: 

  • Nikhil Dey (born 1963) is an RTI activist from Rajasthan.
  • Nikhil Dey is the co-founder of Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan in India.
  • Nikhil works for Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan, Right to Information and Employment Campaign and National Campaign for People's Right to Information (NCPRI). 
  • Nikhil Dey has also worked for Right to Information, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, Lokpal Bill and Right to Food and other human rights organisations in India.
