Men's Shooting Team Wins 6th Gold At The Hangzhou Asian Games Sport 2 min read

The men's shooting team of Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal won the men's 10m air pistol team event gold at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China on 28 September 2023. Indian shooters have till now won 13 medals - four gold, four silver and five bronze at the Asian Games. 

At the end of the 5th Day of the Hangzhou Asian Games, India won 3 medals -one gold, one silver and one bronze medal.

Indian Medal Winners on Day 5 of the Asian Games 

Naorem Roshibina Devi won the first medal of the day in Wushu. She won the silver medal in the 60 kg category. She won a bronze medal in the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games.

The second medal was won by Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal shooting team in the men's 10m air pistol team event.

The third and last medal of the day came in the individual equestrian event. Anush Agarwalla won the bronze medal in the individual dressage event . This is the first time that an Indian has won a medal in the Individual dressage medal at the Asian Games.

India has won 25 medals at Asian Games 2023 - 6 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze.

China leads the medal tally with 167 medals-90 gold,51 silver and 26 bronze.

In second place is South Korea with 86 medals -24 gold, 23 silver and 39 bronze.

India moved to 5th place with 25 medals.

The 19th Asian Games officially started on 23 September 2023 and will end on 8 October 2023.
