Indian shooters concluded their campaign at the ISSF World Cup Lima 2025 with seven medals - two gold, four silver, and one bronze - to finish third behind China and the USA on the medal tally.
The ISSF World Cup/Rifle/Shotgun was held at the Peruvian capital city of Lima from 13-22 April 2022.
It was the second World Cup of the 2025 ISSF calendar, with the first World Cup being held at
Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1-10 April 2025.
At the Buenos Aires event, the Indian shooting contingent won eight medals —four gold, two silver, and two bronze—to finish second behind China.
The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) organised the 2025 ISSF Rifle/Pistol and Shotgun World Cup at Lima 2025.
Around 400 shooters from 43 countries participated in the Lima World Cup.
India sent a 42-member contingent to the Lima World Cup, which was the second largest after China’s 46-member shooting team.
Like the Buenos Aires event, the gold medal winner in Lima automatically qualified for the season-ending 2025 ISSF Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun World Cup Final.
The World Cup Final will be held in Doha, Qatar, from 4-9 December 2025.
India won 7 medals - two gold, four silver, and one bronze medal at the Lima event.

China finished at the top of the medal tally with 13 medals - four gold, three silver, and six bronze.
The USA finished second with 7 medals. India also finished the World Cup with 7 medals, but the USA, with four gold medals, was ranked second as india had won only two gold medals.
