Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles will attend the ICC Men's World Cup 2023 final to be played between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19 November 2023.

  • An official statement said on 17 November 2023 that the Surya Kiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will perform an air show over the stadium before the start of the match and during the innings break on 19 November afternoon.
  • Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel convened a high-level meeting in Gandhinagar on November 16 to oversee security and logistics for the match at Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera, as per an official release.
  • Police briefed the Chief Minister on comprehensive preparations for the match, involving 4,500 personnel for ground management, team security, VIP protection, and traffic control.
  • The Chief Minister instructed officials to boost metro train frequency to Motera station, anticipating fans from across the country and abroad for the upcoming match in Ahmedabad.
