There are many government posts as well as government colleges that either place the candidates in the judiciary system or prepare them for the same. Here we are listing the most popular Law Exams in Rajasthan which can help you in shaping your career in the field of Law.

CLAT

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test and it is a national-level competition exam conducted by the Consortium of NLUs to enroll students in various UG and PG law courses. The candidates are placed in various law colleges and the prestigious NLUs on the basis of their scores attained in this exam.  The candidates need to have a strong preparation for this exam which can be achieved by enrolling in a CLAT Online Course.

  • The candidates applying for the CLAT exam must have completed Class XII or equivalent from a recognized institute.
  • They must have obtained at least 45% marks in the final examination. (40% for reserved candidates).
  • There is no age limit to apply for the CLAT Exam.

Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted in the CBT mode. The exam consists of objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only. There will be no subjective questions asked in this exam.

RJS

The Rajasthan Judicial Service Examination is conducted by the Rajasthan High Court for recruitment to posts of Civil Judge Cadre of the RJS. An RJS Online Course can help you in strengthening your preparations and maximizing your chances of cracking the exam.

Eligibility

  • The candidates applying must have a degree of Bachelor of Laws (Professional) of any University established by Law in India and recognized as such under the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • Candidates should be thoroughly knowledgeable about Rajasthani Dialects and Social Customs (only for the purpose of Interview).
  • Candidates should be a minimum of 21 years of age and not more than 40 years of age (Maximum) as on the specific cut-off date mentioned in the official advertisement for the year.
  • Relaxation in age limits is provided for various categories of candidates. 

Exam Pattern

The competitive examination for the recruitment to the post of Civil Judge shall be conducted in two stages i.e. Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidate who is declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining final merit.

ADJ

ADJ stands for Additional District Judge. It is a state-level examination conducted for the recruitment of District Judges. The exam is conducted by the High Court of Rajasthan. You can opt for an ADJ Online Course to help you with strengthening your exam preparations.

Eligibility

  • The candidate must be a Citizen of India.
  • The candidate must hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws (Professional) of   any University established by Law in India and recognized as such under the Advocates Act, 1961
  • The candidate must have been an Advocate for a period of not less than seven years on the last date fixed for submission of online application.
  • The candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of Hindi Written in Devanagari Script and Rajasthani Dialects and Social Customs of Rajasthan
  • The candidate must be between 35 to 45 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxed up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and Women Category.

Exam Pattern

The exam shall consist of Written Examination and Interview. The Scheme of the written examination for competitive examination for recruitment to the District Judge Cadre shall consist of (a) a written examination and (b) an interview to test the general knowledge of the candidate and his fitness for appointment to the Cadre.

APP

APP stands for Assistant Public Prosecutor. The Exam is Conducted by Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Ajmer. The candidates can increase their chances of getting selected in the exam by strengthening their preparations which can be done by enrolling themselves in an APP Online Course.

Eligibility

  • The candidates must have a Degree in law (Professional) from a University established by law in India and recognized as such under the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • They must have at least two years of experience at the bar.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani dialects and social customs of Rajasthan.

Exam Pattern

The examination scheme for recruitment shall consist of an objective type examination and interview. The standard of the paper-II (Language paper) will be that of Senior Secondary level.

JLO

JLO stands for Junior Legal Officer. This is a state-level examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Ajmer for the recruitment of eligible candidates for the position of Junior Legal Officers. The candidates can ensure their selection by strengthening their preparations by taking help from JLO Online Courses

Eligibility

  • The candidates must have a Degree in law (Professional) from a University established by law in India and recognized as such under the Advocates Act, 1961.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani dialects and social customs of Rajasthan.
  • The candidates must be between the age of 21 to 40. There is certain relaxation for the reserved candidates.

Exam Pattern

There are 4 phases of the JLO exam- 2 written exams, Personal Interview, and Document Verification Round. The exam will be conducted in the online mode and the type questions will be of MCQ type only.
